It was pop but something else, her voice, quality music. Then with The Fame Monster and Born This Way I felt like she was one of those few artists that can release an entire album and all of the songs be great, unlike many other popstars that are puppets and/or just released a couple of catchy songs and filler tracks. Once I got to know her, it kind of transcended that. I know she puts every ounce of her soul into her work and that makes it rewarding to get to know her music on an intimate level. I admired how she wasn't afraid to be considered 'crazy', and right now almost every artist is running around trying to do what she so effortlessly did.
