Cant Listen to Old Gaga Albums

Is anybody else finding it hard to listen to her old albums?? After listening through the very emotional and personal but relatable JOANNE, I'm afraid to play her entire discography on shuffle or even play the old albums themselves somehow. I keep wanting to go back to JOANNE, it's like I have to complete the whole album as if it's a one-way no-stop journey

I listened to The Fame Monster and went from Teeth to John Wayne pretty seamlessly. There's a lot of parallels to be drawn with songs from Joanne and her past albums, so it's not too weird. Like

I Like It Rough -> Teeth -> Heavy Metal Lover -> Mary Jane Holland -> John Wayne

Yas! I haven't been able to listen to anything else. As soon as it starts over with "Diamond Heart," there is just no way in hell that I can stop it.

I kind of wanna give Sia's new tracks a listen though...

I actually jammed to her old bops yesterday. However, I've had only Gaga songs stuck in my head ever since I heard the album.

I think they're talking about lyric wise, so much of her discography misses the straight up and personal things that are in Joanne.

Very true. I guess they can just stick to songs like Speechless, You and I, and Dope for a while before bringing back the surrealistic dancey bops like Venus.

Not just lyrics. But the actual tune and genre. See I LOVE Gaga and Madonna but majority of my playlist is rock (pop, punk, classic, country, etc) so I don't know. I'm really confused :emma:

Then blast the Red & Blue EP and follow it up with another glorious Joanne jam session :rockstar:

This happens everytime she puts out an album but I'm sure once it gets a little older her past albums will be equally enjoyable.

Just had a look as I had no idea! You HAVE to listen to the 'Move Your Body' remix on the album. It's amaaaazing!

Is it!? How would you say it compares to the original? I LOVE the original.

It's very different, but still upbeat, just more electronic.
