Angel Down // Green Sleeves?

Watching her singing Angel Down on the roof of the bitter end, it dawned on me that it's got the folk value of green sleeves.

Get a guitar and a bunch of people around a camp fire, or at a vigil for a tragedy and sing it together.

I hope she plays this song to death so the sing along value at a huge event is a killer.

Yes. It has a value and presence like some older folk songs and civil rights moment songs, even like the U2 song In The Name of Love. Gaga achieved that feeling of our moment in time. It's really special and chilling.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

The song certainly has a timeless aura both lyrically and melodically. I really do hope people at the very least listen to the song and feel the emotion behind it.
