I almost think that's actually part of the "problem"- it's pretty in vein with what she's already done + I think she really wants to show how much she's grown as an artist to everyone before bringing back "ClassicGa," if you will.

Showing how she's grown is clearly not working for her with the GP.

 

People thrive on nostalgia. That's why i think Dancing' in Circles will work so well as a single.

DiC sounds like a filler any of the other pop girls could have released and no one would give it a second thought.
