Aga Gydal 3,158
Nnnnn if this ends up being her worst reviewed album... That review read as overtly aggressive to me
djBuffoon 12,123
I'm usually all for subjective critical analysis, but I'm sorry... if you can't find at least a few things to praise about it, the problem is yours.

If you liked it (or hated it) who cares? Because a lot of them don't actually review the music. they just judge hastily based on Gaga's personality and theatrics. Fame IV 4,426
Seriously, these "music critics" are the epitome of incompetence and know NOTHING about music! Talk about the work and use valid arguments! My conclusion is that the Metacritic score has no value, because is very biased. lugh121 50
Why reviews talk more about the artist more than the actual album ? I read the whole thing and it was more about the artist than the album. I know that every review will not be positive, I'm ok with it as long they give good reasons, he was just draging her, ugh

Jade Welling 24
lol these reviews are awful, stop advicing her to do whats 'popular' thats not the point of her work. she wants to make music popular that isnt popular at the moment....sometimes it works, sometimes it might not, but the fact that she dares to try when people talk shite about her for doing it kinda show 'authenticity' to me, but apparantly these people think that word means she must make the same music so as not to disrupt the happy bubble. also people dragging her vocals because there not autotuned..... REALITY 76,943
I literally did not see a positive remark about Joanne whatsoever when reading that article. I don't understand, does this guy have something personal against Gaga or something? It seems like a passive (not so passive) aggressive review that talks about her character more so than her music. Of course, Joanne's not going to appeal to everyone, and the sound of the album is certainly different, but this review is insane. You can make constructive criticisms, but this reviewer seems like he's just trying to use "big words", childish analogies, and backhanded remarks to get his message across. Joanne is one of her best, if not, the best album that she's released to date. And, I'm not just saying that because it's the newest one, but because I genuinely feel like every song on this album has a unique purpose, sound, and overall good contribution to the album. There's no fillers, and the message is deeply personal and autobiographical. It's must feel like sh*t when someone "reviews" your work that you've worked so hard on. Sylvanas 5,768
Is every single review of this goddamn album going to assume and allege that Gaga's shift in sound is insincere? That it is a reaction to ARTPOP's critical reception? It's honestly insulting. It's actually really pissing me off that these reviewers are putting her into such a tight box.
