crisTEAne 21,059
i still think, contrary to what gagz said, that it is, or can be, a conceptual record. it's cohesive as ****, both sonically and thematically. if you hurt taylor swift, i'll hurt you back
Alex C 254
I will write a review after my 1000th listen, but as of now, this is my favorite album of hers (remember: I am 30 years old and my tastes have changed). I see it as the "true" Born this Way that she wanted to make. I am so thankful for the Americana Rock that is the heart and soul of the album, and so happy that she made political statements (Diamond Heart, Come to Mama, and -of course- Angel Down). I thought that nothing could exceed my love for Born this Way, but this is freaking dope stuff here, gents and girls. Especially for us, Generation X'ers. She's grown, we're grown. She can't be putting out poker faces forever, or she would have turned into a caricature of herself, just like in the ARTPOP Era, which was the worst album in my opinion, because it had no soul. No political commentary there, just 'bops' that turned out to not be bops, with the exception of Venus. If Venus had political lyrics about feminism, it would have been a smash hit. Anyway, I do not five a fυck about sales and charts. I am so happy that I have quality, real music from an artist that in 30 years will be viewed as Legendary. An I am experiencing it in real time, growing with her both artistically and personally (I am also a singer/songwriter). Perform Living

gagaofvengeance 267
YES. Each song has its own vibes and feeling. Each song is different. I'm glad I have a very wide interest in music (Ballad, pop, rock, classic etc). And trust me, I love ALL songs on the album.
