Jester 6,334 Posted October 18, 2016 Share Posted October 18, 2016 So the other day I was thinking about all those people in the US and the rest of the world who bought The Fame, The Fame Monster, or Born This Way, or Cheek to Cheek... and have no clue that Gaga has a new album out. The goal is to reach them. Instead of terrorizing all iTunes users with her new album (was it U2 album that automatically downloaded for free?), I think Gaga could make a deal with Apple and have them send push notifications to all users that own at least one Gaga song or album. It could be something like "A-yo! You've listened to Lady Gaga songs [1500] times and you can be one of the first people to check out her new, just released album, Joanne." All artists are trying to think of innovative ways of releasing albums and promoting them and Gaga's team is no exception. Most, but there are many different age groups on there that may not, plus, exposure is good. Now that I think about it more, I do believe Madge used it to promote the tour.
