Dangerous Woman, Glory and Joanne have been victims of that. ANTi and Lemonade had their physical CD released after the digital. Which prevented such leak to happen. I honestly think that now, you CAN wait a week for the physical CD. You have other options to listen to the Album (buy the digital, stream it), you don't need to CD at the same time. You can't exactly go for those who do leak or listen because it's too time consuming and doesn't change anything. Delay the physical until after the digital and then those who want the physical have that opportunity still. Less people come in contact with it. And it is more seamless, as it can be released globally in the same day.
