I cried when I listened to Dope because an ARTPOP ACT II song should've taken that slot :neyde:

But on a serious note, I havent cried at any Gaga songs but Born This Way and The Edge of Glory made me tear up  I did get major feelings during Joanne as well though :diane:

The song which hit me the most was Hey Girl. I started to cry during the end where gaga sings "hold my hair back", "held hands like we're seventeen again." These lyrics along with the melody gave me such an intense feeling of sadness and nostalgia for when i was also 17 (not that long ago i am 19 now). I was abused sexually at 17 and i never told anyone out of fear. Deep down all i wanted was a shoulder to cry on. During this part of the song the pain in gagas voice really resonated with me and I've cried every time I've listened to this song. You can really hear her longing for a friend or another soul to guide her through her troubles.

i haven't felt this way about any peice of music ever. This song bought back so many memories i just cant really explain with words :(

i got emotional at that part too. i didnt experience the same thing and i have no idea what you must be going through but i am very sorry that that happened to you. we, on gagadaily, are here if you want to talk. :) <3

Kermit the frog

I started bawling my eyes out when the chorus in Joanne hit. The key change to a lower one is everything. That song is so Bob Dylan.

When listening to Angel Down I was thinking about all the chaos in the world at the moment. It's something that gets me down very often. And to hear her singing about it just really hit me.

I felt the same :toofunny: Anyway, I think Angel Down and Million Reasons next to Diamond Heart are the soul of JOANNE (album) But, Angel Down and Million Reasons are too good and they outshine Joanne (song), which it's still an amazing personal ballad :diane:

Angel Down kind of sounds like music from a horror film at times. Which is appropriate because the real world is full of horror some times.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Joanne is a very very emotional song. What i'm about to tell is surelly silly, but I've recently lost my Cat Cecil. He was nine years old, and he was with my almost my entire adult life, and I didn't knew how a good friend of mine he was, and how I needed him since he died.

Each time I hear

Every part of my
Aching heart
Needs you more
Than the angels do

I can't help remember him, and how I miss him, but at the same time how grateful I am for the time we were together.

Yeah, I've cried with Joanne.

Yeah, I've cried with Joanne.

Losing a pet you've loved for 9 years, probably as long as you can imagine, is painful. Let your emotion out to Joanne, for sure.

I cried with Joanne since the snippet leak. It's so emotional and the lyrics are sooo beautiful! Also with Million Reasons when she sang it live
