Joshie S 6,041
To quote, Lady Gaga herself: "I tried to sell myself but I just love the MUSIC not the BLING" "I don't need to be on top to know I'm worth it cuz I'm strong enough to know the truth" "I care not for success, I care not for fame, I care that one person my music may touch" "Stop the drama, start the music" What I'm saying, what she is saying, what all us REAL Monsters are saying, is, it doesn't matter about how it charts or its success, just ENJOY THE MUSIC. Plus the whole country/dance/rock/funk fusion isn't going to help. The album is amazing just not for radio or the charts and I'm fine with that. exactly!! this is exactly what im thinking

ARTPOP is a solid classic pop album full of sex references, EDM production and autotune. joanne on the other hand is something very very different I said mature, not average pop. i think it's an advanced pop album. ARTPOP it's not a solid classic pop album c'mon...she tried to express pain through EDM and she didn't delivered that much except on some songs. Cerny 4,270
We don't know, really. There's no way to know if X can be a hit, we'll just have to wait and see.
Dominic 11,922
Don't think there's any commercial #1 hit but DIC and JW have potential to do moderately well. It's clear she didn't intend for any of then to be these BR hits. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

TheMiddleGround 3,218
Its a Cohesive body of work. With a lot of artistic growth. I don't care if it has hits. The album is a hit to me because of what it will mean to me at this time in my life.

Kermit the frog 1,921
There are no obvious hits. Joanne and and John Wayne need to be single.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good hit song. However, since Joanne singles have been released, all I have read on this website is CHARTS CHARTS CHARTS. EVERY THREAD is in regards to how it will chart, or success, or comparing it to past albums. So, what I'm saying in this moment about this thread, is that we just have to enjoy the music. Naufri 7,424
I really, really can't say what could be or not a hit nowadays. DIC and MR are hit material in my book. 10 minutes ago, maxmore said: come on, you cant tell me joanne is your average pop album. hELXIG 42,923
There are so many! I truly believe enough people out there are ready for music the make them feel again. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
boneknuckleskin 776
It's hard for me to imagine DIC not becoming a hit single if given the chance. John Wayne, Mama, Diamond Heart all stand a decent chance with the right aesthetics. A-Yo, I don't know.
