I work for Sony ATV and I am PROMISING country-rock with pop elements. Lady Gaga has said that its inspired by many genres but its defined as country rock. As a whole. The subject matter is literally horses, deserts, leather boots, praying, highways, motorbikes, "the Lord", and the instrumentation - the very progressions - the Dolly Parton influences. ITS A COUNTRY ALBUM. ITS MY JOB TO KNOW WHAT DEFINES GENRE. I thought it was cool honestly, I wont talk about the songs individually as its leaked but honestly its country so please stop saying that the people saying it is a country album are wrong. Gaga calls it a pop album with country, funk, rock, jazz, honky tonk (i dont know what else she said really) but its actually a country album with POP influence and all those others.
