Thiel has been a vocal supporter of Trump -- one of the most prominent in Silicon Valley. Hespoke at the Republican National Convention and made history when he declared on stage that he was proud to be gay. Thiel's donation will be given through Super PACs and directly to Trump's campaign, according to the source. This is the first time Thiel will be donating to Trump. When it comes to LGBT issues, Trump isn't as bad as a lot of his Republican peers, he isn't nearly as bad as his running mate. In the Democratic primary lots of gay people voted for Hillary, in spite of Sander's having a higher approval rating from the HRC and a better track record on LGBT rights. Being white and wealthy are clearly factors that affect your privilege which directly affects the oppression you are probably gonna face everyday. If anything, it's worse that Trumps going backwards instead of progressing. All Trumps spewed is a bunch of hate. Hillary may have not supported these issues since recently, but at least she does now and at least she fights to make a difference now.
