I can understand that fans are disappointed because we haven't seen many performances but we need to stick by Gaga and support her and just sit back and see how this era unfolds. The woman chose her new direction, regardless of how many fans she'll lose, how much she'll sell or whether she'll gather new fans or not. She has always been a risk taker. Just know that quality music doesn't mean career longevity. Carly Rae Jepsen just released one of the best pop albums of all time - #BuyEMOTIONoniTunes - and if you ask anyone who she is, if she's remembered at all it's gonna be as the girl from "Call Me Maybe". She's not gonna stop until we and the public get it through our heads that all of this promo/number one single and album/most-watched music video bs is just an "illusion." She's just an artist. This Fame that we crave for her is more of a reflection of ourselves. Great music is great music and this is where she is right now and if she's going to protect her soul, her art, her vision, we have to let her.
