because Conservatives are willing to delete their listening time for artists who are as tolerable & Liberal as Gaga is? Idk… every single conservative I've met online are so extra. Most of them don't use logic, & when they try to, there's always some big hole in it. Then again, I guess no Trump Supporters would ever listen to Gaga, despite how country-pop she goes.

Why would Gaga be interested in having fans who support Trump though? I swear this is the most stupid thread I've seen in a while :sharon: No offense though :poot:

Are you ****ing kidding me...

You want her to suppress her feelings, and stop calling out the most deplorable man in the election? Joanne sales don't exactly compare to the future of our country.

I swear the delusion in some of you is un-****ing-real. :toofunny:

Some of you are so hostile :what:

I thought the correlation was obvious. Most Conservative/Trump states are in the south, and I swear that's where country/folk/American is POPPING. It's an inevitability she's gaining Trump supporting fans because of the new music, not any sort of message.

How on earth would you think I support Trump when I just called him deplorable? And argued that placing Joanne sales above this election is idiotic?

I think you're starting off a wrong premise, which is that Joanne is country, because if she really wanted to appeal to that Southern demographic she wouldn't have released Perfect Illusion as the lead single.

Is this for real? :toofunny:

Let Gaga do her thing, she's a polarizing artist and doesn't care if not everyone loves her. She does what she thinks is right and I'm all for it.

Also, no, Joanne isn't country. If anyone listened to Perfect Illusion, Diamond Heart, John Wayne, Dancin' in Circles and Angel Down just to name a few and thought they're anything close to country should go get their brains scanned.

Million Reasons and Sinner's Prayer are two very country-sounding songs. That's it. Bye

TBH y'all really need to chill with calling this album "country". It's folk-funk-rock at best.

And also, no, NO one should stop dragging Trump. For whatever reason. Ever. He is quite possibly Satan incarnate, he should be dragged for filth until his final days.

I think that a singer is primary a singer, not a politician. Singers should not openly expose they're politic view; they can and should fight for what they believe in (like gay marriage etc) but never clearly supporting one or one atoner candidate

That's how I see it

Anyway, I can understand why she is shading Trump so much, I would do the same if I were her and hated him so much!

And please ppl stop saying Joanne is not country... I love country and I love everything Gaga does and I love Joanne but Joanne IS clearly country influenced c'mon don't lie to yourselves

About 3 songs have country influence. That doesn't mean the whole record is country. Guitars don't equal being country.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

U can state ur opinion but dont be telling the networks that are suppostu give us facts to be sawing the public one way. They should report the facts not give propaganda

I dont like Trump either but CNN sometimes is diagusting the way the clearly favour Clinton

And Fox is disgusting the way they are biased in favour of Republicans

Personally, I tend to get ticked off at artists who voice their opinions in a way that "drags" regular people.

Politicians are free game for criticism, though.  It's one thing to say "I hate Trump," but it's another thing to say "If you are considering on voting for Trump, then you're an awful person."  From what I see, Gaga is only criticizing Trump, which, in my opinion, is totally fair game.  Just don't trash other people who may think differently.

If I had to bet, most Trump supporters aren't bigots ... Just like how most Hillary supporters probably aren't anti-American "commies." If anything, I'm just tired of people pitting themselves against each other, just because of a difference of opinion.  It doesn't open a good dialogue, and all it does is divide us more.

But, like I said, Gaga isn't saying bad things about other people.  So yeah, I'm very "whatever" about the stuff she's saying.
