Over-listening to the snippets will ruin the album

I've played the snippets way too many times.

But I'm level headed so it won't ruin the album for me.

@Klou I agree with the OP sooooo, so much. Over the years I've made this mistake many times. I've learned it's best to just give them a few listens in one sitting, then ignore them until the album drops.

Plus, once you've memorized the "snippet" the song itself will always sound different to you, as the "snippet" will stand out like a sore thumb and distract your ear from the rest of the song, when you finally hear it.

I listened to them the night they leaked, but haven't touched them since.

I learned this from prior experience as well. I listened to the snippets once and that was it. I don't remember what they sounded like, so I can listen to the album and not be affected :sis:

Actually, since I am not really into the complete sound of it, snippets help me with being familiar with the songs... I imagine listening to studio version of some songs I really didn't like but then the unexpected part comes up, that will blow my mind!

They can't scare me, if I scare them first.

I only listened to A-YO, Sinners Prayer and Come To Mama. I won't be listening to them again until the album is released
