That's why I wasn't here for ARTPOP.

It was, arguably, worse during Born This Way. I love both albums though.

Why the **** you always don't count C2C era. I mean it was one of the best eras of the whole Gaga music career. Awards, TONS of performance and promo, sold really good for a jazz album and she got praised EVERYWHERE.

After ARTPOP it was like fresh water after being burned,  yet you refuse to consider it.

Gaga cant keep relying on covers to make it. :reductive:

Hope Joanne will slay but more than that I hope C3C will slay, because it seems her "real" fans always complain about anything while others just enjoy then music's good( this is not an attack to the OP but a general statement)

Of course not! I'm glad she returned to make new music, and I hope C3C will feature her written music too! Think about Come to Mama or Just Another Day on a Jazz album, it would be epic. Nobody said she has only to cover  songs

I was talking about solo/pop eras, that's why. Calm down I was not shading C2C, I love it :unicorn:

Well, if that happen, like Aaliyah once said, she must dust herself off and try again.

She is not new anymore, and it is common for artists to have this sales woes or struggles after 3-4 albums, especially the kind of artist like her who refused to be put in a box and do the same thing for over and over.

There will be time one of her formula will.work again and getting that long awaited second wind

Even if it flops commercially, the Grammys 2018 says Hi.

No way in Hell, Heaven or Earth that JOANNE will not get AT LEAST ONE Grammy nomination.

C3C is slated to be a cover of Cole Porter songs though. I doubt the industry will still be kind/appreciative of her if her only foray into jazz is singing covers. She either needs to come up with her own material for people to take her jazz as an actual project and not just a side-line, or deliver strongly with her main effort so she can remain just covering jazz on the side.

The fans that only stan for success will leave and it will be more enjoyable around here.

But what if it's also a critical flop? :oprah:

See here, I'm just being devil's advocate for the sake of discussion on a thread about Joanne hypothetically flopping. If you're going to dismiss me as your regular complainer/pessimist, please know I have been full-on optimistic this era and even co-led a mission to get PI requested on the radio. :awkney:
