Tony at Superbowl is a good idea

As of now it's just 'sources' talking ****. I'm not opposed to Tony performing with her, I enjoyed C2C and I'm excited for their next album, but I don't see it happening.

I'd prefer Queen or Elton to join her as a special guest.

Let's be honest, as now, most of the world and like 100% of the US know how talanted she is, after C2C, Oscar and the SB last year, she doesn't need anymore acclaim by critics, she needs people to buy her music, to go to her tour.

A small performance with him could work, then she runs and goes crazy and dances, because after all it's the freaking Super Bowl Half Time Show, not a jazz concert.

I love Tony, seriously, but I don't think it's a good idea at all.

It will be so messy, mixing the hits, we know nothing about it and it seems that she wants to put 50 songs + 5 artist in 12 minutes....

Believe or not a lot of people like Jazz. This is going to be a show for everyone.

I don't think jazz is something millions of young football fans is something they want to hear.

Believe or not, the people who watch the SB HS are part of the GP/Straight guys/families, and they just want some mainstream artist singing old hits they know to feel a nostalgic.

If done well, this performance could help Gaga a lot, bring her back to the masses, not just the fans, it will help a lot when she starts touring.

Millions of older people would though. Like I said, she will have something for everyone. Also, is not like most football fans listen to Gaga anyways.

If they know Tony....

+ Gaga doesn't need acclaim. We all know who she is, what she does, what she can do and how talanted the bitch is

i agree its great! she has gained alot of fans thru tony and you have to agree they sound amazing together, and you guys act like this means she wont preform anything but jazz. she even said she is doing her hits and songs from joanne and fan favorites.

As much as I love Tony, I feel like a performance with him would considerably slow down the momentum of the HTS, which has the potential to be jarring. You'd want to keep the energy up during those 15 minutes.

No. Adding Tony just makes this half time performance boring. These shows must be exciting, fast and uplifting. Last year's half time show was uneventful, we don't need Gaga to go down this way. Gaga is known to be an exciting performer, she can't mess this opportunity up or she will mess up her legacy. She said herself that she has been planning her half time show since she was five, so she knows how important this chance is for an entertainer.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

America that is not forum living pop stans (i.e., 99.9% of the Super Bowl audience) would be all over a SB halftime show that was nothing but Gaga and Tony.  They would eat it up and it would go down as one of the best SB halftimes shows in history.  The SB has the widest demographic of any event in the US.

Or the media will just say "Joanne is flopping again and has to rely on Tony for a comback, again".

That's not the media. That's flop media consisting of ATRL style fans and stans. Actually respected media outlets , ones that "non-pop stan" people read, never make such unprofessional claims.
