Just because Gaga may not actively try to replicate the idiosyncrasies (including sound and success) of TF/TFM doesn't mean that she won't eventually circle around to making similar music. It's a sound she enjoyed at the time and I don't think that is ever permanently expelled from her spirit.

Yes. That is why you still always hear choruses and musical ideas that sound similar to TF and TFM in all of her albums. But in generally the music still ends up sounding very different from album to album.

Which doesn't validate or invalidate future musical prospects and sounds.

True. But what I am saying is simply based on what Gaga has been doing for the past 8 years.

But who's to say that she won't feel like making that type of music in the future? :duck: Who's to say that it won't feel right for her in the future?

We don't know where she'll go in the future, so I don't think we can exclude a certain type of music from the list of possibilities :laughga:

Uhm, didn't Mark Ronson said in an interview once that Gaga wanted some TFM-ish hook  on this album?

“It’s not by any means a rock record,” says Ronson. “She loves her fans and all those people who supported her from the beginning. For her, it’s not about, ‘F— them, I’m done with that, I want to do this now.’ In the studio, she’s always like, ‘Maybe we put that little Fame Monster hook in there.’ There’s definitely a lot of that in there.”

So, that Gaga whom you thought is dead is still alive inside her, and one day she'll go...

I don't think she'll ever revert back that exact sound again... although I don't think GagaDaily really wants that. We just want her to make innovative pop music. What made us fall in love with Gaga's music at the beginning of her career was the fact that it was pop but "never low brow."

I'd say we're pretty open minded when it comes to pop music straying away from the norm, I mean we're open minded enough to accept and embrace experimental pop songs like Heavy Metal Lover and Bloody Mary. We just need that pop core.

This site embraced You & I, so I don't really think country influence is the problem. There's just something lacking about her music nowadays compared to before, I'll be honest. I love Gaga and I don't like to say this. It's still going to **** me up and I'm going to buy a couple of copies. But Gaga needs to find a new zone where she can find that spark/passion again. Growing up, I struggle with the same thing.

Luxe Ford

Anyone heard the theory that history repeats itself? There are most probably many, many new albums she'll release in the future (or not) and even discussing what we have no knowledge of and whipping up a storm between fans who doesn't necessarily agree with each other is meaningless. We're experiencing Joanne right now and *no one*, probably not Gaga herself, knows what lies ahead.

What happens in Luxe Ford stays in Luxe Ford
