A slight majority of respondents named the former secretary of state as the winner, with 52.3 percent naming her as the winner compared to to 47.4 percent who named Donald Trump in the poll taken live during the the presidential debate in St. Louis, Missouri on Sunday night Clinton started off the debate with a considerable lead that peaked at 12 percent, however, the billionaire businessman narrowed the gap as the matchup came to a close. Hundreds of people voted in the flash poll, which was not a scientific sample. CNN/ORC conducted a poll of debate watchers — an audience that, the network’s David Chalian pointed out, “skewed a little more Democratic.” The poll found that 57 percent of respondents thought Clinton won, and only 34 percent thought Trump won. Additionally, YouGov polled 812 registered voters who watched the debate, and found slightly less rosy numbers, but still a narrow win for Clinton. Forty-seven percent thought Clinton won the debate, and 42 percent thought Trump won, according to the poll. Not to mention the whole thing about Bill? Stop. He's not running for president. The time of joking is over. Leave the politics to the people who have everything together. Hillary kept it together while he decided to stick to his old disrespectful tricks. Do we want that comedy to meet with other country's leaders? This man as the face of our country? Hell no. He talked in circles and completely avoided most, if not all, of the questions. He results to insulting Hillary and that's really his own game plan. He's not a politician, he doesn't know what he's doing, and frankly, I don't see how anyone would think he'd make a great president. He has no political experience, and I don't care if you you like Hillary or not, but she has actual political experience. She has to win this presidency. She knows what she's doing, whether you agree with it or not. And, besides, she also has progressive policies, especially when it comes to looking at society and social reform. Why take steps back when it comes to something like that that people have been fighting for for years?? And please, Donald Trump kept squandering Hillary on "Oh, you were a senator for, why didn't you do this?!". Like, it's basic politics, Donald. Hillary is 1 out of 100 senators, she can't do everything on her own. She can argue and support her cases and what she wants to do, but she can't singled-handedly do anything in the Senate. Even then, as Hillary said, if something passes within the Senate and the House, the President still needs to approve of it. Being Secretary of State is a different thing, but you cannot squander her position as a senator because I'm sure she fought for what she wanted, but the Senate needs to agree and it also needs to get passed through the House and go to the President.
