After songs like YAI, TEOG and EC, I was expecting an album with real instruments and mature hooks, not mediocre electronic production and hooks like applause-plause and ma ma MANiCURE like ARTPOP. Joanne is the album I wanted from her. I feel sorry for those who can't enjoy it due to their mental prisons (charts, RedOne, the fact that it is not pure pop, etc). Based on the snippets so far, I think this album will be tragic and worse than ARTPOP. The only snippet that got me excited was Diamond Heart. I will give the songs a listen once the album is released, but I feel like my mind won't change. I was kinda expecting not to like the album just based on how she initially described it, so I'm not really too let down. This may possibly be the first Gaga album I won't buy. Even some of her songs on red and blue sound much better than the snippets I've heard. Please don't anyone say it's because they are LQ. I'm talking about the music, tunes, and genre.
