... to someone who hasn't heard them yet aka me? Which one is your favourite, which one is your least favourite? How do they sound? Influences? Dance/country/rock/pop? Final grade for the album?

I am hyped but I don't want to listen to them to spoil the surprise. But I looove MR and PI

I have heard that JW and DIC are the best ones

Omg I feel like there are no filler tracks in this album, they all genuinely sound great and none bring the album down imo. Could possibly be my fave album so far :diane:

dont give in! Listen to them when the album comes out!

Bette Davis

DIC is my favorite, but unfortunately to me it kind of sticks out as being different from the other tracks. It sounds the most modern to me. It has a bit of a No Doubt/Gwen/Ska sound to it.

Overall the tracks all seem to have varying degrees of folk influence, but still stay in the realm of pop. It's definitely not a country album. I agree that there aren't really any fillers from what we hear in snippets. It's going to be a great album, but definitely different from her past albums.

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

-Diamond Heart is my fave. It has some EDM influences (I think) and it has a powerful build up

-Sinners Prayer is a bit meh...

-Dancin' in Circles sounds very good, fun at parties

-Joanne sounds beautifel

-A-YO isn't as amazing as I thought it would be so far...

-Come To Mama makes me cringe a bit idk why, it just sounds like i've heard it many times already

-Hey Girl sounds good, Florence her voice is beautifel and they sound good together

1. Diamond Heart - uptempo, potential hit

2. Joanne - really really emotional, could easily connect it. really above my expectations

3. John Wayne - it's amazing but can't describe in words

4. Dancin' in Circles - Cheap Thrills/Sorry feeling, raggae

5. Sinner's Prayer - better in live but i still love it

6. Come To Mama - sounds like grease to me

7. Hey Girl - didn't really like it and don't know how to describe it

8. Angel Down - starts like dope but gets you more into it. its better

9. Grigio Girls - don't know how to describe

10. Just Another Day - don't know why but i feel this song could be on The Fame

I have a feeling I'll share the same opinion when the album comes out because I'm also not a fan of AYO or SP when she performed them live

Arizona Sky

1. Diamond Heart - Upbeat, pop, explosive chorus

2. Joanne - Beautiful melody and lyrics, acoustic guitar

3. John Wayne - Rock-pop, Electric guitar, Chorus breakdown is similar to MJH

4. Dancin' In Circles - Sia/Shakira sound, chorus with Gaga whispering, tropical sound

5. Come To Mama - Straight out of the 60s, Motown, sounds like a Supremes record

6. Hey Girl - Similar to Bennie & The Jets

7. Angel Down - Dope 2.0 but WAY better with pleasant vocals

8. Grigio Girls - Reminds me of Carrie Underwood, mid-tempo

9. Just Another Day - Sounds like a Beatles record, could be on Red & Blue

Tommy Monster

Well, for me it´s a huge letdown that I saw coming after the Bud Light event... not into country at all and this album is heavily influenced by it :noparty: there are a few songs that made me interrested though and those are John Wayne, Dancing in Circles and Angel Down :) also a couple of nice sounding songs like Come to Mama or Grigio girls...

Overall, however, I must say that this album is musically not for me, cause even the songs that I find fine are nowhere to epic or great... and songs like A-yo or Sinner´s Prayer are possibly the worst Gaga songs ever for me...

NE Thing

DIAMOND HEART // Unexpected. Very pop and electronic influenced with a killer chorus that would go down a storm on the dance floor.

AYO // Country and pop-rock perfection. Nothing like Shake it Off like some said - but rather danceable and mellow-ish.

JOANNE // Emotional af. With minimal production, this song sounds perfect on this album.

JOHN WAYNE // Judas-Aura pt. 2. Omg did not expect it...

DANCIN' IN CIRCLES // I have no words..

COME TO MAMA // 60's doo-wop

HEY GIRL // Different to what I expected - but nice...

ANGEL DOWN // My fave - I love it so much already

GRIGIO GIRLS // Think a slower version of Shakira's Try Everything

JUST ANOTHER DAY // Light-hearted - a firm fave.

Mentally Disturbed Llama.

It is a 100% folk/country album.  Except for Perfect Illusion which doesn't seem to belong.

Diamond Heart is probably the best one but is a country rock song.

Joanne is really eerie and sweet.  The way she sings "Girl" before "where do u think you're going is special.  The only instrument is a banjo though.

Hey Girl has nice singing but no instrument.

Johm Wayne is a harder country bop, but also boring.

Angel Down sounds very nice, again, no music instruments.

Come to Mama is nice, it's like she made you an apple pie in song form.

Overall nice singing but completely folk music (no pop).

Diamond Heart will fuk you up, it's an absolutely amazing track!!

Angel Down - very emotional, strong melody and interesting chords change (in the snippet at least)

Not really into the rest yet, so I just mentioned these two.

Too many people here with moral superiority complex.

John Wayne is fire. Probably includes the best Gaga scream of all time. DIC is not the kinda song I'd like to hear from Gaga but it's nice. The rest of the snippets are also amazing. GET READY

I loved them all! The only song I find meh is 'Grigio Girls'

Diamond Heart is fire!

Dancin' In Circles is a bop!

A-YO is the new MANiCURE

Come To Mama is an easy happy song, could've been on The Fame/ Monster perfectly.

John Wayne is a killer track

Joanne is something really special, seriously, it sounds amazing.

Angel Down another killer track and easy singing song

Hey Girl is a fresh track

Just Another Day a great track and it belongs to The Fame

another shot before we kiss the other side

Yall must have really run off all the negative ggd users with all those hate threads because I am baffled so many people enjoy this new direction :cryga:

I enjoyed 1 snippet, Diamond Heart

I could potentially enjoy Grigio Girls, Hey Girl, and Dancing in circles.

The rest.. are in my opinion, horrid.
