But there has never been a Gaga ballad that I have felt the need to play on repeat over and over and over again like I have with this one. It is the ultimate Gaga ballad for me. She's simultaneously singing a simple song about romantic heartbreak, while also singing to herself about growing beyond her past identity. It's gut wrenchingly brilliant and moving.
