juju 18,907
BornThisWay will take a lot to be replaced in my heart. But that isn't to say that it can't be done. We will see. ❤ x ❤

Joanne is about to be her grammy-worthy masterpiece. Like she could go up against 25 and Lemonade if Joanne was qualified for a this year's Grammys (which it isnt). Tarl69gp 110
Too country for me. I highly doubt I will like it. This is not a pop album at all. I waited 3 years and this is her delivery of a pop album. None of my favorite artist have transitioned into country and kept my attention. Darius Rucker, Staind, Jewel or Sheryl Crow (I did like the first single) so I hope it doesn't take too long to come back for another true pop album. I was so hoping this album would be rock but this is not my genre. Her voice is awesome but she already proved that with her jazz stuff. TArL

Songs like Government Hooker, while iconic and the crazyga we love, are tracks that can't hold a candle to every song on this album. I don't think anything she does will ever top BTW for me sentimentally but after hearing the full songs she's premiered and the snippets I really think this is her best yet A-yo, A-yo..... Killa 17,508
It just might be, it's hard to tell without hearing the full album. But the songs lack a stronger melody line and some come to close to used formulas. It seems that there's a bit of separation between the creation of the lyrics and the music part. I really don't see it being better than The Fame Monster but seems an album you won't bother to listen tons of times in dozens of different situations. It seems very GP friendly, and the songs are really really easy to learn. I've memorize most of her new songs after first listen. Still...Gaga where's chorus like Aura...?? Goosey 3,017
Whenever a new Gaga album drops, everyone always says that album is her masterpiece. The Fame! The Fame Monster! Born This Way! ARTPOP! Whenever they came out, many thousands of Monsters immediately said "this is her best album!" Some people seem to believe that if you think the latest is not also the greatest, you're not a true fan. I must roll my eyes, because y'all ain't even heard it yet! The only country vibes I really got were from Million Reasons and A-Yo. This album isn't country at all. Yes, there are country influences, but that doesn't mean that it's a country album. It's still very much a pop album, and if anything, there is more rock than country on the album. Just out of curiosity, which songs in particular sound especially country to you?
