Does Diamond Heart remind anyone else of Bubblegum Bitch? Joanne is Gaga's Electra Heart era.

Ended up listening to a bunch of snippets this morning and I'm walking away feeling like this is going to be a fresh, stunning, important album for her. It's of course hard to gauge the sound and feel of a 50 minute album based on a bunch of out of context snippets but assuming the punch in these 30 seconds hold for the duration of their respective songs I'm really confident in this album. Quick review of what I heard:

Diamond Heart - Gaga sounds bold and declarative here, with a building drum beat. Sounds epic, and with the humorous pivot of "do you have a girlfriend?" this is signature Gaga to me.

Joanne - This is the hardest to judge because it's a slow guitar ballad. Her voice is soft and beautiful, resting in her middle register. We already know this is going to be a somber tune so the snippet doesn't divulge from my expectations.

John Wayne - This is a ****ing romp. There's a beat drop with some bizarro background vocals, it's got a western vibe but doesn't sound totally unplugged, if that makes sense. The short running time (less than 3 mins) worries me still, but I'm hearing a good hook.

Dancin' In Circles - I'm getting Fame Monster confection here. This may be the most signature pop track on the album judging by this snip. Something about dancing on your own, then a beat drop happens with Gaga seductively whispering what sounds like a killer hook. Most excited about this one.

Come To Mama - This snippet sounded the most out of context to me. That live vocal she sang in that one radio interview ("we used to live in the jungle" or something) isn't from Hey Girl after all. It's giving me mid-tempo doo-wop so far, but I'm excited to see how the full piece plays.

Hey Girl - I'm the least excited about this surprisingly. I don't think the lyrics are particularly interesting, and you just hear the first verse in here. The lyrics we all know by now. Not entirely catchy just yet but the chorus should be a good time.

Angel Down - Pretty, classic acoustic Gaga here. There's a melancholy vibe here, much like Joanne, but this sounds like it'll have an epic transition somewhere.

Couldn't find Ayo, Sinner's Prayer, Grigio Girls or Just Another Day. Most curious about JAD.
