 if you replace "ARTPOP" for "Joanne" you wouldn't find it displaced, would you? According to Gaga's words back then, ARTPOP was not supposed to be as pleasing for everyone as you are claiming. It was her way, more than ever. So you can't say that. So, are we ready to admit Gaga is a liar about her work? If so, how can you tell that what she says about Joanne is honest? In my opinion, I don't agree with you, I think Joanne was supposed to be  what her fans/the world wants from her: more vocals, more stripped-down, more "real music". But apparently is not working. Is everyone just done with Gaga in every form?

i actually don't really consider ARTPOP polarising. it's definitely an album that fans have mixed feelings about, but more in terms of quality, not content. the music on ARTPOP is kind of what you could expect of gaga init like it's mostly fun electro-pop music, but when it comes to joanne.... omg. rip this fanbase

I'm loving the music and loving Gaga. The only thing polarizing about this for me is how much I feel disgusted at the forum. Just being honest. (Like a lot of you here have no problem being). I thought I'd enjoy GGD more once the era starts but so far it's been complaint after complaint after complaint and it's just leaving a horrible taste in my mouth.

My class group are being way more positive regarding Joanne than Little Monsters themselves. My class group could not care less about Gaga's music, but they really love "Perfect Illusion". They already know the words. It's just insane. I swear.  Like, I am aware negativity is part of this forum, any forum. It's just getting too much. It should not affect me, but it is. Not my opinion, but my heart. She worked so far on this record, yet people are bashing her. Same thang with ARTPOP. I hate these type of people. Have some respect for your artist's work. If you hate it, don't be harsh nor negative about it. Just say you do not like it in a positive way.

If Gaga decides to put this out still regardless, she certainly knew the risk she is taking. Some people will not like.it and.leave, but there will be new people who become fans because of it, it always happen on each album eras, so I am not worried at all. Out with the old, in with the overpriced.

at this point after just a few weeks doesn't prove if a song is a big hit or not. It just shows how popular the artist is from their previous work and how many active fans she has really that help her debut. It could still get to number 1 possibly who knows, no one can put a limit on this song's success and I think its great classic gaga.
