crisTEAne 21,059 Posted October 5, 2016 Share Posted October 5, 2016 fab interview, enjoyed watching it. i especially liked the part when she explained how she got her dad to understand her show and it was in a gay club. where are those assholes that insisted that she used the gay community to get famous? it's obvious that she was an outcast and the LGBTQ community was a safe and accepting place for her and her art. when she referred to BTW as the record that was written by her bullied side in high school, i had to stop the video for a sec. those songs helped me and a lot of people and i'm so grateful that she was brave enough to stand up for herself and for all those bullied kids. it's obvious that everything she has said throughout her career is true and justified. how dare some of the ungrateful "fans" question her integrity in any way? however, i have to say that there was one little thing that kinda bothered me: when she was talking about the fact that women tend to be more emotional and then mentioned the storm thing. i'm no way an expert in cognitive psychology, but i'd like to think that this notion is simply a preconceived idea that's disseminated in a structured way by society. i think the whole thing is rooted in gender roles as opposed to biology, so i didn't like that. otherwise, again, fab interview. if you hurt taylor swift, i'll hurt you back Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
