She was so big that every one liked gaga, however during btw and ARTPOP she lost popularity with lots of teens and the more gay part of the fanbase pushed all the cool guys and girls out with their weird views, comments, insults about not being loyal etc, she will gain and lose fans from different target markets depending on her future output. Sorry for grouping ppl but it needed to be done to get my point across. Her first audience was truly the gays though The gays fans that embraced her before she was trendy The gays the bars she started performing in The gays in her team The gays We exist Gay tears are real

Yes they have been loyal and started supporting early on but they don't deserve that much credit. Lots of the gay people at this time were supporting Britney instead when gaga was on the rise and were jealous of gaga's success.

Impostor 4,114
Since ARTPOP she was brainwashed to believe she does not need the crazy outfits and the glamour anymore. I think it's a matter of management, or maybe the anti depressants she is taking. I don't believe she has abandoned the gays, But I think she wants to show the world who she believes she really is... I think that yeah as a whole the gay part of the fanbase have been very influential with her long term success they have been the most loyal part of her fanbase to date. She appreciates the gays though but, I'm gay but I don't feel like I'm really a part of the gay community because all my friends are straight and I dont have any gay friends really and apart from Lady Gaga I only really like masculine things. Sexuality doesn't define people, lots of gay fans seem to like this new rocky, less bombastic gaga including me. But yeah I agree.

I dont think any other fanbase has as much fun as us little monsters because gaga is so unpredictable in an increasingly predictable world.

Letmelivemylife 8,715
Gaga will always love the gay community. She herself is bisexual. I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you
Stewful2929 786
Funny, I was thinking the same thing lately. Idk why, but made me feel super un relatable when her goal is to bring people together. Oh well, I'm still happy to hear the new album.
