Joanne and Gaga

I've been thinking about this whole Joanne story. I mean, how can someone feel so connected with a person that she didn't even meet? She died at 19 years old, about 10 years before Gaga was born. I actually find creepy when a guy twitted something related to the Black Jesus lyrics:

"I grew up in New York City,
Since I was born on Broadway, baby!
Moved downtown when I was just nineteen,
To start a new life on the New York scene."

And Gaga answered that tweet saying something like she is continuing Joanne's life. I just don't understand. Do you know why Joanne is important for her? The fact that "she wanted to be famous and know I'm making her dream come true" is not convincing enough to me.

It is her aunt :emma:

I think she feels connected with her on a spiritual level, maybe they have a lot in common so she feels like Joanne it's a part of her

Maybe Gaga's father told her all about Joanne and her goals and dreams and Gaga saw her as an inspiration.

Her death affected her father and their relationship so much and so many hears, that it affected her also without having to meet her.

Joanne is important to her because her death impacted their family, especially her father because he was young  when it happened so it may've impacted their relationship as a whole. She mentioned in recent interviews that her and her father had a straining relationship growing up and it may've been because of that. Of course, that's just me speculating though. You don't have to meet someone to be impacted by them (I mean look at us with Gaga, lol). Knowing that she and her aunt has similar passions and that her father loved his beloved sister so much that he named his first born after her is impacting enough.

I mean, even for me my grandfather who passed away a year before I was born has a lot of impact on me as a person especially when multiple people in my family mention how I have a lot of facial features similar to his as well characteristics/personalities. I mean in my case I remember being a little child freaking out my mom because I was describing what he looked like without ever seeing a picture of him, lol.  :emma:

I think it's through her father. Joanne's death devastated Joe, and his grief must have affected Gaga growing up. I think the connection she feels comes from wanting to help heal her Dad's heart more than anything. Just my take on it anyway.

REALITY

Her death affected her father very much, and as we know, she has a very emotional and strong connection with him.

Not only that though, but I feel like she feels like that she and Joanne are connected at a spiritual level. They were probably very similar, had similar ambitions and goals, acted similar, etc. In fact, Joanne being so impactful to the where she made an album about her, that shows a lot.

Pretty sure Gaga doesn't care about convincing anybody else about the legitability of her feelings in this matter.
