Ideas for Joanne Tour

I would like to see Gaga's hits/any old songs she decides to perform completely reimagined/remixed. I feel like she's in such a different creative mindset these days, it would be cool to see how she reinterprets her classics. For example, I would love to see her perform a summery house/disco version of Bad Romance similar to her cover of Chic's I Want Your Love. Imagine her performing the Starsmith remix of Bad Romance with the long Perfect Illusion ponytail and visuals like The 1975's The Sound.

Taking Bad Romance into kind of a modern neon/tumblr/dystopian futuristic Japanese place to change things up and give it new life. Anyone with me on the opinion that she should switch up her hits to breathe some new excitement into them? Try playing the video of The Sound and muting it while you play Bad Romance (Starsmith Remix). Just my two cents.

I'd love if she started a new trend of having a concert with all of her best songs but having the instrumentals be different, have a different take on it like you said and call it the REMIX TOUR or something, have it last for just a little while until she comes back for the real tour

No. Gaga is giving us a farm stable stage  , chicken dancers , vegetable shaped  balloons and a broom stick for the Joanne tour , remember less is more . Can't wait :excited2:

That would be really cool. I just figure since it seems like she's scaling things down with Joanne and trying to present herself with a classier more wide appealing image to the general audience, she can do kind of a chic futuristic couture take on something like BR or other classic songs, giving them a more mature feel.

Have all the songs have a 70s rock vibe would be dope

I'm here for runway couture mature Gaga. Put her in some kind of sleek Gareth Pugh pantsuit and let Nile Rodgers and Mark Ronson remix her greatest hits :classy:

I wouldn't expect the next tour to be like the previous ones, if I were you...

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

I know, what I'm suggesting is totally different... That's the point of this thread.

I want intel to be involved so bad. And as for songs i don't care as long as bad romance is either remixed or removed. :madge:

Idk, I feel like we're not getting this kind of thing from her for a while...and the stage probably won't feel as "thematic" as the previous ones...

Musically, sure, changing things up is valid, specially if she wants the show to lean a certain direction...maybe a less electronic direction...

Dorothy Gale

I feel like the next tour will be more of a greatest hits tour than a Joanne tour. Idk why. I think it'll be like Mrs. Carter tour.

Considering there are 13 songs on the deluxe edition of Joanne, (#14 is "Angel Down (Work Tape),") I think she's going to do a lot of the singles. At LEAST Just Dance, Poker Face, Bad Romance, Born This Way, and Applause. artRAVE was the first tour that she cut singles, those two being LoveGame and Marry the Night. So, this tour is going to show whether she's the type to keep "lesser" hits in her catalog of possibilities by performing one or if she's the type to never bring a song back once she stops performing it. (Don't hate me for calling them "lesser," I stan each single so hard, and I became a full-fledged fan/LM when LoveGame came out.) The 5 singles that I'm almost sure she will do make 18 songs total, so she could either do a lot of medleys like at the artRAVE and throw in seven more to make 25 songs, or she could throw in maybe 2 more and do a Monster Ball-style set list. Maybe she'll do TEOG (if she does it at the Super Bowl) and Paparazzi because it's one of her favorites? If I had to pick two, those are my guesses. Maybe Alejandro and Telephone? G.U.Y. if she wants to incorporate ARTPOP more? (We attacked her for only playing the title track of BTW at the beginning of the artRAVE. 😂) SO READY FOR THE TOUR AS YOU CAN PROBABLY TELL.

Idea: Cancel it, make a pop record.  :gaycat:

If this album doesn't bop I'm not going to see her live this time.

As far as remix her hits, I know Madonna does it in fact a lot of big artists do. It can be hit and miss. Even when it does hit, a lot of their hits become "mash-ups" where they squeeze a medley of like three songs into the time slot of one song, which makes the setlist look good on paper, but it's artificially bloated and the performances are often a half-hearted sort a tour-by-numbers reverse warholian experience powered by intel. :derpga:
