So do I. But I fail to see how one person (not necessarily you) or others find it exclusively "rock" when it has a more Pop sound than anything.

Would it be better with auto-tuned vocals, a drum machine, and more synths? Would that make it more Pop and less Rock? Is the genre being defined solely on the raw vocals, live instrumentation, or even the guitar riffs?

That's why I said Rockish, and not exclusively Rock!  And if it were everything you just described, then it would be Just Dance 2.0

because some of us have been fans for nearly a decade and have been through enough up and downs that one single doesn't make us give up.

Also the fact that she stated numerous times that PI is not indicative of Joanne and we've heard 6% of the album. 

Also the fact that some of us veteran monsters have friends here.
