There have been many, many shootings and unfortunate crimes within our own borders. He says he wants to keep Muslims out to ensure that no more terrorists get in, but what about our terrorists here. There are—unfortunately—people in this country that share a similar viewpoint to groups like ISIS. Mexicans: Then why didn't he say "Let's build a wall around Canada"? He specifically said Mexico and even went to Mexico to talk to the president about the wall. And the phrase I just bolded... what?? "All illegal immigrants have a high crime rate and do rape"?? That's generalization to a whole new level. Yes, some illegal immigrants do have a high crime rate, and some do rape, but don't say all of them do. Women: Then he should equally be held accountable for the things he says about men. Talking sh*t toward people, regardless of their sex isn't befitting of a president. Plus, there is still a notion of the fact that "women are inferior" and such. It's very much present in other countries, but it's also present in the United States as well. Abd don't forget the sexism, he is the same man that wanted to reduce the "bikini wardrobe" for Miss Universe contestants and publicly called the winner Miss Piggy on tv and weight-shamed her and humilliated her by having her workout on live TV. He has the dumbest trophy wife ever. He sees women as objects. Yet here we are.

I think that some of them think this just means marriage, and they are years away from that or don't think they will ever get married. They don't realize that this means that they can be refused service, denied housing and fired with no recourse. They don't get that this is a law created by bigots for outright discrimination purposes. There is no difference between this and discrimnating against someone because of the color of their skin. I keep saying...with Trump, we are going to go backwards as a country.

Discrimination is discrimination. Sure, you could say "Oh, well, but we can't discriminate against people of different religions", which is true; however, if you want to start defending religion, especially something as deep-rooted as Christianity, you need to start defending all aspects of it. It's also a sin for men to cut their hair, a sin to wear clothing off different materials together, a sin to eat shellfish, etc. etc. Then would those need to be regulated as well?? I'm sorry, but I just can't understand a viewpoint like this. Even if you own say this about privately-owned business and employers, it still doesn't make it okay. Discrimination is discrimination. DivaCup 255
@DemeLarell i don't think i twisted your words. if you agree with this policy that Trump will bring into action, it's basically saying you don't care about being discriminated against. it's 2016. not 1960. it wasn't OKAY for black people to have separate schools, drinking fountains, petty things like seating arrangements on buses back then and it never will be. If you have 100 snakes that are vegetarian and 2 that are extremely poisonous and might threaten the existence of many people, would you open the cage for them? thats the point he is making. In my country, there is an extremely dangerous entity that is killing us and their main target is America and if you do not protect yourself, you will end your country and ours aswell. Look, im not saying I agree with the ban, I just simply cant call him a racist based on that.Mexicans: Thats because Canadians do not enter America illegally or even want to enter America.. im not say there is no Canadians that enter illegally but that percentage is so little unlike illegal mexicans who are more than 11 million. Also, I did not say All illegals are criminals, I said all illegals have a high rate of criminals.. I hope you can understand the difference.Women: Yes he should be held accountable for what he says about men too but we shouldnt make it about gender when he is not attacking their gender, he is attacking them as human individuals.. you can hold him accountable on how he talks with humans in general and attack him on that but instead, people and the media wants to use gender politics and accuse him of sexism and attacking women when in reality he is just attacking a person. This false accusation makes the word sexism and racism lose its importance and make it a joke while people are suffering from real sexism and racism. If more people acted like you and are open to discussion without being triggered, offended and then accusing and attacking, we would all go forward and progress together because we understand where the other is coming from even if we disagree.
