I have theory about Bowie Dead does effect Gaga

Swan Heart

Reding "Bowie" next to "Dead" still breaks my heart.

But yeah, I can see that being true. Bowie is her idol, so his passing for sure influenced Gaga.

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

I totally agree. I had been thinking about the same thing. I think Gaga was going to go the safe route with RedOne, and after Bowie's death she kind of went, enough is enough, I am releasing a hippie, organic, analogue-ish record that I enjoy, and that I can be 100%  proud of. And that is exactly what we are going to get with Joanne

^^this :reductive:

but i think she can have album full with hippie organic alternative sound less pop less chart

but also creative at visual the same time / maybe lowbudget?

but when bjork and fka twigs out there i dont think that is excuse :gaycat:

What did bowie think of Gaga's music?

I try to not think much about that because I know that he never talked about gaga publicly but rumours said he didnt like her. Nonetheless Gaga once said they were pen pals, but she never got a chance to meet him in person. Ill make myself believe that he respected her a lot, and that he thought of their friendship as something private and thats why he never talked about her publicly. Its my fanboy stretch hahaha

This is sad. Everytime something affects her releases. If he was alive today, Gaga will be finishinc an 2 succesful single and releasing another. March was the time for the lead or even feb.

I think she's doing this to prove herself as a true artist, she always loved him, he was her ídol and his son being a bitch and If the rumours were true about he not liking her.....

I think her next main album will be What she had planned first.

another shot before we kiss the other side

Joanne is about her dead aunt, Grigio Girls about her friend that is dying, John Wayne is dead too, maybe one of the songs is about Bowie idk

I think it made her put herself in Bowie's shoes, what would she want the world to think of her if she was to die as sudden as him? Kinda like BTW.

Most y'all probably won't agree with me at all: but I think that her relationship issues with Taylor also probably have influenced the process of creating this album.
