I personally have no problem with Clinton at this point policy-wise, I think she would be a satisfactory Commander-in-Chief, but there is no question in my mind that Bernie Sanders would be beating Donald Trump by at least 15% in the polls if he had been the nominee.

Look at national polling. Statistically speaking Bernie Sanders is the most popular politician in America.

By half the population. That's a lot more than Clinton but no one is uniting the country here.

I know this site only has one resident conservative, but guys, like 50% of American's think Sanders is a looney toon.

According to national polling he has a higher approval rating than Trump and Hillary, and is arguably the most popular political figure in America.

Here is a poll done by the "lefty loons" at Fox News which show Sanders having an extremely high national approval rating.

I think Hillary would win in a landslide if it wasnt for the email mess and the Sanders campaign. Sanders turned millennials off of Hillary. So I really dont think his system works this election. He may turn out  to be right that Trump wins but it'll be for other reasons.

I still think Hillary will win though. She has a small lead, and Trumps is terrible in debates.

Thats in Vermont which is the farest left state in the country.

And his approval ratings are high because he hasnt been attacked by anybody. If he was the nominee he'd be vetted by the whole media and destroyed by the Republican party as a communist that would ruin the economy and bankrupt the country. He's not credible as Commander in Chief either, voters wouldn't trust him to keep the country safe from terrorists etc.... He'd lose in a landslide.
