25th anniversary of Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" - 9/24

Any fans of the "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers?  How has it held up after 25 years?

This was the album that really made the Chili Peppers a household name.  You all have seen the videos and/or heard the music for songs like "Give It Away" and "Under The Bridge" over the years.  You've also heard "Breaking The Girl" and "Suck My Kiss" a time or two on the radio.  This album is still considered to be the Chili Peppers album that set the standard for the band's subsequent releases.  It feels like everything that have done since this album has been measured against this album.

I wouldn't say I'm a real fan of it but I do believe it deserves to be considered a classic even though it's older than me and I wasn't around for it's release lol. I appreciate the sound and feel of it. Griddy, real, and kind of stripped back to me. Under the Bridge is an epic song.
