She'll definitely renew with Interscope, and you're exactly right on why they've been so laid back for this album, the contract is ending. They want to keep her on the label. Gaga has made Interscope many billions of dollars, more than they could have ever hoped when they initially signed her, she's done her part for them. I kinda agree tho I mean from what I've seen online Beyoncé is pretty big in the US, but I've lived in 3 different countries (Norway, Netherlands, and Japan) and I've never heard anyone talk about Beyonce or heard her music apart from Single Ladies. I think she's a very local act. On the other hand I hear songs from Cheek to Cheek at least once a week in random cafés or stores here in Tokyo. Idk, Beyonce has a very strange status. TFM was an EP of TF (not a full LP) and Cheek to Cheek wasn't a solo album and was released on Streamline... I'm thinking they might be expecting another album...
