Tommy Monster 846 Posted September 22, 2016 Share Posted September 22, 2016 It's too late to pronounce it a buzz single now that we have the album release date But in some aspects I would agree, cause my problem with the song and the video as well is that both have so much potential that's just not executed well (the video more than the song) The song's chorus sounds more like a prechorus, I was waiting for the chorus to hit and heard second verse instead plus the end is a little bit too loud... still LOVE THE SONG THOUGH it's just not a typical Gaga banger but it's got so much drive The problem with the video is much worse in my oppinion, it's way too shaky and sped up, her tedious grimaces are painful to watch, and it's so quick from the very beginning that it cannot go higher and has no climax... It feels like a buzz single for me, don't get me wrong, I love the song and the video has some nice.... seconds but I feel like she's just creating buzz with it and she's gonna hit hard with the second single PI is just an introduction to the new era for me Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Except 2 very short verses the whole song is a huge chorus, or even more like a huge pre-chorus; it feels incomplete. I liked music video but it gives me blurry vision from all these flashing scenes... Other than that, song is good but not single material definitely. But what I can't understand are those of you saying that it shouldn't have been the lead single. This is what Gaga likes to do now and she said that charts aren't so important for her. What's more, I don't think that another lead single would do better than PI.
