I certainly do. It lets me know this is an album that she (and the fans that got to hear it) truly enjoys. It's also her subtle way of saying that she can't wait to share it with the rest of us. I see no faults here...aside from the little Judases that are leaking info

And "rich kids"? It's not like they're the Trump family eating a six course Thanksgiving dinner and inviting homeless people to watch from outside the tower. It's Gaga and some fans enjoying music that we'll get to enjoy soon too. It's just a tease, it's not that serious

I'm okay with it. We haven't listened to anything from the album and it's getting released in one month. I like that. It kind of bothered me that by the time we got ARTPOP, we've already heard most of it. With Born This Way it was like making love, each month of 2011 we'd get a snippet or preview of one of the songs, then Farmville, promo singles, etc. it was like drug in small doses, which made me fall in love with that album.

I genuinely don't understand the purpose of fan listening parties. Everyone loses.

Gaga gets backlash for supposedly creating a hierarchy, and any hype she intended to create around the music is overshadowed by said hierarchy. In addition, information about the album undoubtedly leaks, and I don't see how that helps her more than releasing information herself in a controlled manner. 

The fans who got to go to the listening party become hated for 1. being "rich" or "privileged" enough to go and 2. leaking information (even though that;s not true for all the fans).

The fans who didn't get to go feel alienated by Gaga and dislike the creation of this "hierarchy". 

I'm not feeling jealous or entitled when I say this. I would much rather listen to an album full through when I'm laying down on my super comfortable bed, in the dark with my best headphones in and the bass adjusted to an optimal level than in a crowded room full of screaming, sweaty strangers. Though I'm sure the acoustics in Electric Lady are fantastic and listening to a Gaga album with virgin ears in the presence of the queen herself is a dream.

If you were one of them would you give a **** about what people on GGD were saying about your relationship with Gaga? Do you think Gaga cares what anyone thinks? Jealousy is rampant.

Everyone on here saying the ones that didn't listen are jealous or feeling entitled is actually wrong. I don't feel jealous or entitled or even hate any rich kid for any reason. I just think fans are fans and we should all get what we have waited for together as a fan base. Adele didn't preview her stuff and yet it might still out sale Joanne, drake didn't preview anything to fans and yet his album might out stream Joanne. I just hope she can be more confident and professional

If you weren't jealous you wouldn't have posted anything. We really are the "but why not me!!" Generation. If you were one of the people chosen you would've understood. Besides, Gaga doesn't owe us anything it's her music she can play it for whoever she likes. 

At the end of the day yeah sure I'm bummed I didn't hear it.. but I know I will eventually so I don't try and instigate tension. What was the point of you posting the thread if not to try and fan the flames at a time that is already very polarizing on GGD.
