Guest Posted September 21, 2016 Share Posted September 21, 2016 After watching the video now for like hundreds of times I ask myself whether the song and its energy would've been more appealing when it had been released simultaneously to the song's premiere. People were always distracted due its repetitiveness and mostly wrote it off after the first listen because they didn't understand the meaning behind it. With the video the meaning is pretty obvious, it doesn't sound as repetitive as the audio, the aesthetic is outstanding and makes you wanna watch it again. IMO it should've been released as a surprise during the "PI Coming In Sept." - hype. People would have been shook and overwhelmed by its addiction factor! Spoiler I know it's just another "What If" - thread and me being a little manager but I really enjoy thinking about such tiny marketing steps which often end up having enormous impact on how people perceive your work. Why do people want her to put everything out there the first week? I don't get it. It makes no sense. This is why Gaga is famous for horrifically big percentage drops on second week releases.
