What they said in their post, is at the heart of why true fans love Gaga. Does chart topping touch one's heart? Like suddenly because she is number one on billboard, that helps me end my depression, or at least cope enough to keep myself afloat? Because if that was the case, I guess Beyonce or Katy Perry have really helped me in life, with their chart topping success which touched my heart and mind, and brought me happiness when I thought there may not be much left in the world. You're right, we love her for the charts. (Also, check it: Cincinnati 90.9 FM is my regular station in the car when I am not listening to my iPhone, which also has classical music. chromadica 636 Posted September 22, 2016 Share Posted September 22, 2016 I feel pretty happy to be open to all genres of music and not just vapid chart topping pop songs (not that there's anything wrong with those). As much as I'm always here for crazy outfits and pop music, I've been more than happy to witness Gaga's growth and versatility as an artist. It's just one of the many reasons I love and support her, and will continue to do so. Also, I was a lurker here during the Born this Way era, and there was an equal amount of complaining about how they didn't like her new material and wanted the "old Gaga" back. It also happened during ARTPOP. It's nothing new. Gaga's image and sound change so drastically that it's just to be expected every time she begins a new era.
