It's interesting seeing fake stans unstan

I see so many people saying they hate this gaga and want pop gaga back (tho PI is pop..). There was even a comment saying they miss the "madonna-copying" gaga and that now that she "stopped copying madonna" she's gotten terrible. I mean... It shows that most of her (fake) fans don't respect artistic value. She's the purest, least fake she's ever been. So people obviously want her to act fake and do things against her will. That really saddens me 

Real fans (or just music fans in general) shouldn't care about charts, rating, views,.. They should respect her artistic expression and the fact that she's actually choosing to be her pure self instead of caring about fame and publicity. That actually takes a lot of balls and proves that she's more than some basic pop artist. She's someone who dares to follow her own creative freedom. That's what I respect the most about her. And that's why I'm still crazy about her. I still remember when she first started pop that people were all like "why is she so fake, why can't she just be her self and lose those wigs". Well...  

EDIT: a lot of people are misinterpreting this. Everyone has the right to not like her music. If people don't like her being this way or don't like her new music in general and therefor aren't a fan anymore than that's fine. I mean yea you can go on and on about how disappointed you are and that's cool. It's your opinion. But there's a huge difference between people who just don't like her anymore and people who are mad and expressing their anger in a delusional way. Those people have never respected her creative expression and have never been real fans to me.

EDIT 2: Lady Gaga is an artist that I care a lot about. She's been my inspiration from when I was 13 and just coming out. So no I will not shut up if something bothers me when it comes to her. And yes it does bother me when people hate on her for no respectable reasons. So I will speak my mind even though everyone on this site is sick of hearing the same thing over and over again (I get it, but I don't care).

But some people got so used to a specific standard of her that they end up dissappointed when their expectations aren't met. The thing is, I think PI and Joanne in general is here to cleanse her image, much like C2C but  more extreme this time. And when I say cleanse, I mean she is removing all expectations so that she can explore more genres and possibilites in the future with the public and fans having more open minds. I am still trying to wrap my head around this fact.

she has never been fake. this is simply another artistic endeavor for her. she's doing what she has always been doing: exploring and expressing herself. in my eyes, she's still the same. in those of the GP, however, she's changed—and that's exactly what she wants them to think. they have a preconceived idea, an inaccurate notion of what/who lady gagz is/should be. she's proving them wrong.

I am a "stan", but i start to feel like "unstanning", not because I care about the charts or the commercial aspect of Gaga's career, but because I genuinely do not like the musical direction she is taking or the quality of her art.

I think most of the hardcore fans start to question their dedication because of this, not because she has not debuted at #1.

she's mainstream , yesterday i was joking all day that she is indie which she isn't giving the fact that she is signed to Interscope and she did promo for this song Radio,Twitter ,banners ,etc

Those so called "real fans" are the ones who are obsessed with charts, with their "#streamPI" and "PIVevoRecord" campaigns 

And people grow up. So you were a stan yesterday, but today you are not, does that make you fake? No, it doesn't, it only means you stopped relating to Gaga's work. That's the most normal thing ever. 

 

I can't agree with anything you've said. Not even the "creative freedom" stuff. She's doing the music she wants, but doesn't mean she doesn't have a whole team telling her how to manage her image. Don't be naive.

There is a difference between people who listen to music but don't really care about the value (which is fantastic, great, amazing) and there are people who really dig into music and analyse it and respect it. That's just the way it is.
