The analysis/creativity of the Perfect Illusion MV

It's hard to focus on something in an illusion, so Gaga conveys that through the camera never being still. The camera never being still could also depict a typical optical illusion. 

Gaga is in a desert, sometimes in movies when someone is trapped in a desert they see mirages of something they desire. A perfect illusion.

At the end of the video, Gaga is rolling in a concert scene, this then switches to her rolling in a desert by herself. This could mean she sees that concert as her perfect illusion, as it is a mirage in the desert.

The only illusion I can find is that she is channeling ha inner satanism and relying on shaky camera to hide it

I think the video idea comes from a feeling she had at some point in time. Of wanting to just drive out into the dessert all alone and just thrash around and perform like she's in front of the best crowd.

That's what it kinda looks like to me. She speeds out into the dessert, driving fast and out of control, pulls over abruptly off the road in the middle of nowhere, and starts performing. Then it flashes to her performing in front of a crowd (obviously that's what she's picturing in her head as she thrashes around all alone in the dessert), then at the end she rolls on the ground and it cuts to her doing the same back in the dessert, when she's snapped back to reality from her little dream/mirage/fantasy/illusion.

I don't know exactly why. Maybe she was going through some turbulence in her life one day and just wanted nothing more at that point in time but to drive away from the madness, to go and perform to let out all her emotion.
