Off topic a bit. I hate Gaga's tattoos! Except from her 'Tony trumpet' one which I think is kinda iconic!

Too bad they're...permanant:laughga:

where I said that she is talentless? ,I only implied that her costumes were a part of her creativity not her mediocrity

costumes were/are apart of her creativity. what you dont seem to grasp is that she doesnt NEED 7 inch heel-less heels and a gaudy versace ensemble accessorized to hell with a wig to match to validate her being a creative person. she is an artist with jeans and a t-shirt as much as she is with everything i just described.

you are saying that her lack of excessive clothing means shes "lost" herself and is now basic. when in actuality shes never basic even in basic tanks from american apparel.

I dont undersatnd this claim when somebody says that all of her choices before were for something else, and now she is the the "true" artist that she always wanted to be.... WTF? who were all of you following all this years than.? A phony by your words ?.. I am not talking about the music change-because first single is as pop/disco as i am used to her --- but everything else fall flat to ordinary

in my opinon the music part was the only thing about her that wasnt as progresive and inovative as music video/perfomances/ and gerenral philosophy, and i always wanted  from her to bring her music to that avangard stage as everything else. Now i got the usual pop radio frindly tunes , but everything else fall flater than flat..... i am excited to her the entire albu, but first singe didint bring that 180 shift from the usual, at least not for me

The continuing problem with Gaga as seen in popular media these days is that shes a very talkative person that likes to go on about her creative processes and everyone is listening and taking her word for word as if shes speaking gospel. Its the problem of people hanging on her every word and taking things way too literally. She is her hair and her wig and everything and that doesnt mean she IS her hair literally. Its a figurative way of expressing what she expresses time and time again. She uses costuming and everything as apart of herself and her art and it defines her as much as anything else does but at the end of the day she is also still human. And all of those things are still apart of her even now when shes wearing shorts and a t-shirt. It sounds complicated to have to explain this but its really not. Because honestly it shouldnt even need to be explained. Its innate human-ness.

In the initial days, during The Fame/The Fame Monster, when she would make statements like "I would die if one of my fans saw me wearing flats" I mean thats just where she was at then with her image. It doesnt negate anything or make her a phony. Yet people want to bring that up as if it exposes her as something. I mean, its your opinion whether or not you think shes looking to ordinary. I kind of agree but I also think she looked far more pedestrian back in her 2012 brunette days. To me, that was boring yet like 90% of this fanbase was wet for her. Idk. Already lost in ramble but the point im making is even though I dont think this era so far is extraordinary, I also dont think its her being entirely boring or disingenuous either.

I was talking about fans claims, not  hers explanation... Listen i am aboard for her to go subversive you may call it "indie " root, and go beyond what we expect from her.... But listn i belive the music was the most commercial part about her, the performance/music videos, and her  visuals were setting her part from her pop peers.. Now  the fisrt single is still verry popdisco and made to appeal to the radio- but the other parts were missing... And this is my opinon alone- as of now i as a fan didint get anyhing that would really excited me this era. That first teaser befor full song came out felt so aliiive and epic- and what came after that wasnt as progresive-for me atleast. Again the ere has just started so i cant dismis everything before it even happend

I wasnt attacking you despite what my long reply might insinuate just for being so bloated and wordy. i dont disagree with you really. but i also dont think shes lacking in creativity this era so much as I just dont care for what shes bringing to the table thus far, I like her shimmery crop tops with her boobs peeking out. i dig it, but is it like.....captivating me either? no.

A super talented woman that doesn't need weird outfits to prove she has talent. The fact that she used them in the past doesn't make her always needed of outfits to make art.

Ripped jeans and a white tshirt ALWAYS over a meat dress and a fake wig.

New thing we don't like on Gaga daily anymore apparently #666: wigs and eccentric fashion:derpga:
