All of those cheesy greeting cards will have us believe that the bond between a mother and child is something that is "natural". Pardon my French but **** you hallmark. Not all of us are blessed with bio moms who love us more than life itself. Someone who loves you unconditionally and would jump in front of a train to save you. My 2 sisters and I weren't that lucky. We were raised by a mother who was emotionally incapable of giving us affection/being there for us. There was a huge void in my life that remained empty until gaga came into my life. She became "mom" to me because she did all of the things that a bio mom is supposed to do. Call it creepy or weird but that's how I see her. She filled a very huge hole in my life. She loved me unconditionally when nobody else did. She said I was perfect when everybody else was trying to change me. She was there when nobody else was. As I said before, not all super heroes wear capes.

She is also my hero. I was going through a really difficult time when the Born This Way album came out. I don't care what anyone says, it never failed to help me through some really really bad days.

 

I'm doing better now but I will never forget what Gaga has done for me, even if we've never met.

That's really important what you feel, I don't feel her like a 'mom' but as a friend, you know, the one you can always rely on, in fact, I dedicated my thesis to my family, my friends and her, because of how important she is to me  I've learned a lot thanks to her

If she means that to you, its perfectly ok, embrace it and dont let anyone bother you about it, Gaga is a wonderful person.
