No.At first I though maybe Adele but no.Gagas success was more than sales etc.She was a force.

Thats why Gaga can sit and have fun.She has done enough. She is already a star.

Maybe she can release some quality music every 10 year for us,little monsters  but its okay if she doesnt.

Beyonce is not big worldwide. Maybe in the US and Brasil but not everywhere. Gaga was everywhere. Also Beyonce has been in the bussiness since forever you can't compare her to an artist that was EVERYWHERE with just her debut.

Rihanna has been constantly successful but she has never seen a peak nearly as big as Gaga's. Taylor is not really a huge worldwide star although she is comparable to Gaga only in the US.

OK check your facts.

Gaga created this crazy pop icon. I still think she created this image of a pop star icon that isn't touchable by anyone. It's not fair to compare. Gaga is her own self and honestly her own category at this point. It doesn't matter how/what she does at this point, she will always have that.

Beyonce's peak was during the Sasha Fierce era during the same time GaGa was peaking. The receipts are there, Beyonce didn't come close :green:

Katy I'm not even going to entertain that one.

Adele certainly is as big musically but she fails everywhere else.

Taylor's had one major pop era. It was big, but NOT TF/M big. Maybe if her next era smashes too we can call her peak as big.

Does pulling up old receipts make you feel better that PI underperformed?

I was just thinking about why people always call Gaga a flop as soon as she under-performs (thanks to another thread here). And I realized it is because she was literary the biggest thing on the planet for years. So an underperformance seems like a flop compared to Gaga's previous standards. Anyways, this is not really related to PI. I love the song, and I will be fine if its not a success :D

Jesus copied Gaga. Gaga was the first person to pray, watch the Monster Ball DVD.

Is Beyonce really as big of a star as Gaga was worldwide? Are her songs guaranteed hits? Is she breaking youtube views and social media site followers records?

I can easily say that no, she isn't. She may be famous, especially for people under 30 but her singles are not necessarily hits in my country (most frequently, they aren't actually). Most people know her thanks to Single Ladies, we almost haven't heard of Lemonade on the radio at all.

Gaga's peak hasn't been reached, that's objectively for sure.

Maybe if little monsters would stop calling everyone else's fave a flop with one bad single, then maybe they won't all join forces in return and drag our fave in return.

I love PI too and think it's her best since BR, but is this thread really necessary?

Worldwide, people know Beyonce more than Gaga regardless of hit songs, views and social media as the most popular singers of all time from back in the day never even had a charted song! What matters is how people perceive you regardless of what the numbers say and people of all ages view Beyonce as a legend and will always remember her work even if they dont listen to her songs so she will always be reminded in history unlike Katy who has #1's yet people dont view her as something important. With Gaga, well her name is bigger than her career so people might know that name yet know nothing about her and if they know a song, it would be Poker Face or Just Dance.

No threads are necessary. And I never really call anyone else a flop even though I know many monsters do.
