Do u believe what she says PI is abt?

When she says PI is about Instagram, snapchat, and Grindr etc? I sure don't. The only song that would match the description about hiding behind a fake POF/scruff/tinder profile would be Aura.

I think she's just saying that to take away from the media coverage. Clearly it's about Taylor, but she doesn't want the media to blow it up and harass her about it. What do ü think its about?

Lyric wise, it just sounds like it's about a person (maybe Taylor, idk).

But she said once that Poker Face is about Bisexuality and stuff, and yet the video for example is literally showing her playing poker :lana:

So maybe when they made the song, they had Social Media in mind, but in order to make it catchy and relateable, they just used a love story instead.

I don't believe most of the stories she makes up for interviews to explain her songs lol

yes, she's the artist.

btw, there's no such thing as a universal truth. what you think it's about is a matter of perspective and interpretation. if you don't believe her, then that says more about you than her.

if you hurt taylor swift, i'll hurt you back

More like she made the song about Taylor and started using the social media meaning so she wouldn't expose him.

I'm pretty sure it is about what they (her and Taylor) had between them. Not just about him, but both of them.

it wasn't laaaahv

Not entirely, because it's too strange of an analogy to compare social media to a false love. I don't believe it's about Taylor though, I just don't know what it could be. :lana:

But how akward would it be to scream in a song about Twitter tho :wtfga:

"It wasn't a like, it wasn't a like, it was a Perfect Illusion" :madge:

Considering the song and theme wasn't even her idea, it probably wasn't about anyone (at least in her life) in particular.
