Bad Bromance 5,809
I see your point, but I'm not sure how the song would sound if, let's say, DJ White Shadow would have produced the song instead of Mark Ronson, Blood Pop and Kevin Parker. I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

zerojk 4,954
One of the bad things about Perfect Illusion is that they kept the vocals in such a high volume that the good production cannot be appreciated and it can even be annoying for some listeners.... the song would be much better if they lowered a bit the vocals volume
Jay.P 2,336
Those chorus synths scream Kevin to me, and that vocal fx seems like it was made by BloodPop. Maybe we'll hear more of Mark's presence on other songs, especially ones where it's only Gaga and him. Do you hear that? It's poison.
androiduser 7,438
hearing the instrumental only makes it sound even more basic, totally basic beat with a few extra sounds on top of it
xdxrovied 323
the guitars in the chorus and a lot of the sounds going on in the key change are the signature of Tame Impala. the electronic feel in the verses may be BloodPop's and i feel like Mark Ronson is more of a general producer, general meaning he takes an acoustic version of the song and polish it sonically.
