Gaga And Her Management

She's not doing well at all commercially and even though I absolutely love the song I'm not surprised. It's not really lead single worthy and it's a little concerning that Interscope believed this to be her best 'comeback' hit.

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

Sorry that this is kinda off topic but...Do u guys remember this same situation with BTW? How everyone expected Born This Way to sound somehow different and we got the dance anthem it is? Everyone was SHOOK lol. Also, I think I kinda expected Judas to sound very different tbh, and I fell in love with the song! Also, I remember when low quality snippets of Judas leaked and it sounded so freaking amazing :flutter:

Is this just because of the single.... God, do we have to talk about this all the time?

Interscope chooses the singles.  And management ain't the same as her contract with Interscope.

They probably didn't chose well, the song has a strong drive and is very short and simple but it was probably chosen because it's the most generic. She needed something less safe, and not easy to put in any kind of radio, nor does it fall in any label. That was very dumb imo, she has still lots of chances for a great momentum, but she lost a great opportunity.

The label knows what's the best way to cater Gaga to the new audience she's trying to attract. Plus, I don't understand what's the problem with interscope treating this album like it's an "indie record". It's not because they think she'll be unsuccessful, it's because she's taking that route, the majority of you need to understand that people grow up and change their outlook on what they do. If you don't like it, it's cool, but keep the negativity to yourselves, it's seriously such a buzz kill

I dunno. I just hope the album is good because all the signs are leading to the possibility that this album will be her worst musically. :diane:

Mark Ronson (5 Grammy Awards), Beck (5 Grammy Awards + 16 nominations), Florance (one of the best voice of our times), Hilary Lindsey (2 Grammy Awards) etc. are involved in this album.

Do you really think that people, who are masters of modern music would let Gaga us their talents if album was bad?

Just go and listen to Katy Perry. I am sure you will be satisfied. :madge:

The reason behind the choice of PI is the producers and not the song itself.. it's to introduce Gaga as something new and different and to gain acclaims, there is a different between working with Kevin Parker and between working with RedOne..

Well she released Perfect Illusion with all those talented people, and it's her worst song imo. So yeah, it's a possibility. And we're in no position to be dissing Katy Perry or other artists right now. :interestinga:

Who said that? You? Gaga's 13 years old "fans"? Madonna's stans?

And I am not dissing KP. She just want to make a hit songs and that is fine. Her choice.

Obv Gaga is not in control of this era. So is it good?:oprah: im really confused about "Joanne" cause she said it her most personal album to date but edit: her label is taking over what single to put out.

gaga isnt a singles artist so who cares lol. shes gonna make her money through tours, video plays, and other side contracts. gaga is an album person. the charts are dominated by basic shitty music :D
