Learning with Gaga: Sitar

I can't wait to hear this track. I love the way the sitar sounds.

It's interesting that it's part of the lute family because I remember Gaga's friend Sting made a whole album built around the lute. That's neither here nor there, but I wonder if someday Gaga will do something weird as building a whole album around a archaic, rarely used instrument. 

As far as instruments I'd like to see her incorporate, she's kind of already incorporated one of my favorite instrumental flourishes, which are bells (MTN) - they're so beautiful, Christmasy and majestic sounding.

I am more excited for her live performances and hearing the actual instrument being played.

Thank you for telling me what a sitar is and that it will be featured in one of her new songs! 

One of my favorite performance of hers during the ARTPOP era was her performance of DWYW with her blonde fiber optic wig, her heavenly voice, piano, the arpop app (RIP), those chime things (i dont even know what it's called)  and the xylophone.  I got chills when I first heard it. 

Hopefully this era,  we will have more live performances of her singing with live instruments!
