JaysAMess 27,843
*Alrighty, so today/tonight we'll be making: * *What you'll need: *TEXTURE 1 - TEXTURE 2 - TEXTURE 3 - COLOURING *#1: Create your canvas, mine being 600x300. Now grab your image (if you're using more than one image, then select one) and place it on the right side of your sig, duplicate it and place it on the left side. Now, flip one of the images vertically and then just do a quick blend of the images. No need to keep it clean. Here's my result so far: * *#2: Now merge your images together and then duplicate it. Now with this layer, go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur > Amount set to 16 or 22 > Blur method set to Spin > Quality set to Good. You should end up with something like this: * *#3: Now, place texture 1 in a new layer and set to Normal with opacity of 71%. Erase some parts of the texture to show your radial blur. You should end up with something like this: * *#4: Now grab your main image, place it on top of our current layers and simply erase around him/her/them so that your main image blends with the background. It doesn't matter if your erasing/cutting isn't good. The messier the better for this kind of sig. You should end up with something like this: * *#5: Now, take texture 2 and place it above our current layers and set to Multiply. I thought it looked a little dark, so click Ctrl+U and it should bring up Hue+Sat, set Lightness to +54 and click OK. Much better! *#6: Now take texture 3, and place it somewhere were the blending looks a little icky and set it to Lighten. Erase some of it if it covers your persons face. You should end up with something like so: * *#7: Almost done! Take a round fuzzy brush, make sure your colour is set to white and simply brush ONCE anywhere you like. Lower the opacity to 65%. Nothing really special, just a nice touch really. *#8: Click 'COLOURING' in the what you'll need secton and click download. Once download, open in photoshop and drag the group over onto your sig canvas. I'm sure most know how to do this, if not then comment and myself or someone else will help you. Pretty fancy, right? If you think it's too bright, simply add a Hue+Sat layer and lower the Lightness or mess around with the layers. *#9: Finally, merge all your layers, sharpen your image. Add text, a border, whatever you like because YOU IZ DONE! *Hope you guys like my tut and I hope it is somewhat useful to you. *
