ThisGuyTony 30,160
I'd be super bored of her if she kept doing crazy outfits tbh.
Benji 20,113
It's okay to miss those eras, just don't let it cloud your judgement of the next one. It's also okay to dislike the current direction, you don't have to be "loyal" to her because she is just an entertainer at the end of the day. Don't let anyone tell you you're not allowed to feel how you feel, but also don't get hung up on it! If you don't like it, find something else to enjoy. androiduser 7,438
actually, to me this looks more like an act than those eras before
The Surrealist 27,470
It is kinda boring to see her with the same outfit in twenty colors and hear 10 radio interviews about the same subject, but I will withold my judgment until the full album comes out. I was complaining too much in the past and people told me she will change once the era starts and now that the era has started everyone is complaining about Gaga. Ironic. Let's wait and see. Something like "we're the customers, she needs to satisfy us". I don't agree with that at all. She's an artist. She evolves. Her music isn't just some product on a shelf, it's an expression of something about her. There's a little bit of her in each song, ya know? If you don't like it, you're free to take your business elsewhere but don't ever feel like it's her job to please you or anyone else but herself. Spoiler That got less directed at you and more generally speaking towards the end btw OT: Of course I miss other eras. I miss the LGBT themes of BTW and the crazy, kooky styles and expression in ARTPOP but I'm also excited to see what kind of ride she's going to take us on this time the era's all but a week or so old, I don't think we can really judge it yet. 🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼

What she wants to express with the music is just a part of her artistic vision.

This. It's been just over a week since she started the era. The amount of meltdowns I'm seeing from the fanbase is unwarranted imo. Wait to see how PI does, wait to see what you think of JOANNE. Then you can decide if this era isn't for you and you need to take a break from her
Cracks 1,238
People said the same thing when BTW came out, same with ARTPOP. And this is called nostalgia.
artRaver 3,188
Honestly. I like the new era so far because it fits with where I am in my life. Actually all of them did at the time. ✿ cherry blossom girl ✿

Monsterish 5,520
Probably, Joanne Era will be my second favorite after BTW Era, so shut up and enjoy the music!
Slayer 9,227
I really don't want to be negative about her willingness to change in every aspect of her life. She's adapting as a performer and no longer feels the need to create shocking performance art, whether that's her actual performances or her outfits or the controversial things she does. And that's fine. But at the same time, I can't help but feel a bit underwhelmed by the 'normal Gaga'. This era just doesn't excite me so far. I want to love it, but I just... don't. And that deeply saddens me. I'm not being a hater, because I'm still keeping an open mind for the album. I just can't hide the fact this Joanne era is really boring so far. Hearing her say Joanne is "just a bunch of songs about my life" feels very wrong. Where is the passion, where's the creativity? It's upsetting, I'm not going to lie. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!
